A Genshin Impact/Honkai Impact zine dedicated to the character of Yae (八重)
ABOUT
Sacred Blossom is a fanzine - fan magazine - focused on the character of Yae 八重, and her multiple incarnations (Yae Guuji, Yae Sakura, etc) in the Impact galaxy.
As of now, we're still unsure how tied the "two" characters from both games are. However, as there are a lot of connections with the Honkai and Genshin worlds already, there are also some decent clues that allow our minds to wonder if they aren't one single entity as well.
This fanzine has for goal to let creators familiar with one (or both) universe.s to express their love for the character(s), as well as their vision and theories through their art.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
Applicants should be at least 16 years old when applying to Sacred Blossom.
To not produce harmful, hateful or any content susceptible to stir heavy discourse on your personal social media accounts or websites. The list of those kind of content is: homophobic, sexist, any hateful discourse about sexuality or gender, sexual content with children.
To not submit any traced or plagiarized content.
Make sure all links submitted are accessible. When submitting a Google Drive file/folder, please do not forget to switch the permissions to "Anyone with the link can view". Should the content of your link be broken/inaccessible, we won't contact you to get another link/the content in question.
To be sure your links work, try entering the URL in incognito mode before submitting.
Samples can be both SFW or NSFW, at the only condition that the mod team knows that there is/are NSFW samples in the application (please mention it in the comment section of the form when submitting). As NSFW won't be allowed in the zine itself, we do not want to penalize an artist or an author who produced an excellent piece, which could be a token of their skill, and want to add it to their portfolio.
Previous zine experience is not required. We will choose contributors solely based on their skills.
DISCLAIMER : Applicants will be reviewed and judged solely based on their applications and the quality of their art. Fictional content an applicant chooses to produce outside of the zine produces will not be taken into consideration, so long as it is not supportive of harmful ideology (racist, homophobic, etc)
F.A.Q
Will this zine be about the two different Yae’s of each game? Or will it be about them as a singular character?
As of now, there is no certainty that both Yaes, Yae Sakura and Yae Miko, are the same character. So, as such, there will be no restriction to consider them as one and only one entity. Contributors will be free to produce a piece:

The only instruction is that it remains understandable to the person reading the zine who is/are the characters depicted or written about.
If I'm interested in contributing to this zine but don't play Honkai (and by extension, don't know much about Yae Sakura), would that still be alright?
Yes, absolutely! The main idea of this zine is to allow the future contributors to express their love for Yae. But, as she happens to be one of the Genshin characters that demonstrate the deep links between the two games, we wanted to offer the possibility to create pieces that link the two of them, no matter what the link is, as long as it doesn’t fully contradict the bits we know from the canon lore.

Hi, I'm Ito, French Hobbyist Artist and Impact multiverse afficionado. I discovered Yae through the 1.5 Genshin live stream, and she instantely stole my heart, my soul, my everything (and once she'll appear in Genshin, probably my wall-).
Fascinated by Yae's character, story and lore in both games, organising this zine quickly became an evidence to me.
